A Few Words from Your Guide:
As stewards of the fisheries and the environs we visit, Rockies on the Fly is committed to promoting and practicing the most humane elements of catch and release fly-fishing.
We always use barbless hooks (regardless of the hook size), we use the properly weighted fly rods, we use fish friendly landing nets, and we practice a mindful approach when handling of the fish.
We do not guide or fish when the temperature is below freezing because there’s a serious risk of blinding the fish if their eyes freeze. Littering on our fisheries is positively inexcusable and will not be tolerated. We make every reasonable effort to properly dispose of cut monofilament; we do not throw it in the water or on the ground.
We will not guide intoxicated clients, and we will end the guided trip if clients become intoxicated during the guided trip.
